How It Works
Bring your equipment to the shop or schedule a local pickup. Tell us what it's doing — or not doing.
A flat-rate inspection to find the real reason it won't start — fuel, spark, compression, or something worn out.
You get a clear, itemized quote before we turn a single wrench. No work happens without your OK.
We fix it, test it, and don't call you until it's running right. Then it's back in your hands, ready to work.
About the Shop
No Start Garage started for one simple reason: too many people were told a mower or trimmer was "done for" when it just needed a good cleaning and an honest hand. We're a small, independent shop that lives and breathes small engines.
No commission-driven upsells. No mystery charges. Just a straight diagnosis, a fair quote, and work we stand behind. Most of what people throw away is one carburetor or one spark away from running like new — and finding that is the part we love.
Straight Answers
We charge a flat-rate diagnostic fee so you always know the cost up front. If you approve the repair, that fee is applied toward the job. Call the shop for our current rate.
Most repairs are finished in 3–5 business days, depending on parts availability. Simple tune-ups can often be same- or next-day, and we offer rush service when you're in a bind.
Just about all of them — Briggs & Stratton, Honda, Kohler, Kawasaki, Stihl, Echo, Husqvarna, Toro, Craftsman, Ryobi and more. If you're not sure, just ask.
Yes, we offer local pickup and drop-off for a small fee. It's the easiest option for riding mowers and anything too big to load. Contact us for the service area and pricing.
Almost always, yes. Old fuel gumming up the carburetor is the #1 cause of a no-start after storage. A clean-out or carburetor rebuild usually brings it right back to life.
We're primarily a repair shop, but we stock common wear parts — spark plugs, filters, blades, lines and pull cords — and can order most anything else. Ask and we'll help you get what you need.
Cash, all major cards, and most mobile payments. Payment is due when you pick up your running equipment.
Yes. Our repairs are backed by a straightforward warranty on the parts and labor we provide. We'll explain the specifics for your job when we give you the quote.
